ARTICLE 4 – WHC<\/strong>
\nOur store is hosted on whc.ca. They provide us with the e-commerce platform
\nonline that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
\nYour data is stored in the data storage system and databases
\nwhc.ca data, and in the general whc.ca application. Your data is
\nkept on a secure server protected by a firewall.
\nPayment:
\nIf you make your purchase through a direct payment gateway, in this case
\nwhc.ca will store your credit card information. This information is encrypted
\nin accordance with the data security standard set by the card industry
\npayment (PCI-DSS standard). The information relating to your purchase transaction is
\nkept for as long as necessary to complete your order. Once your
\norder finalized, the information relating to the purchase transaction is deleted.
\nAll direct payment gateways comply with the PCI-DSS standard, managed by the
\nPCI security standards board, which is the result of the joint effort of companies such as
\nVisa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

\nHere is a list of cookies we use. We have listed them here so that

\n_session_id, unique session identifier, allows whc.ca to store information
\nrelating to your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).
\n_whc.ca_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last
\nvisit. Used by our website provider’s internal statistics tracking system
\nto record the number of visits.
\n_whc.ca_uniq, no data retained, expires at midnight (depending on the visitor’s location) on
\nnext day. Calculates the number of visits to a store per unique customer.
\ncart, unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information about your
\nshopping cart.
\n_secure_session_id, unique session identifier
\nstorefront_digest, unique identifier, undefined if the store has a password, it
\nis used to find out if the current visitor has access.<\/p>\n
