The Haitian Cultural Association “LA PERLE RETROUVÉE” was created in the summer of 1997. Founded by MM. Lesly Tilus, Jean-Robert Aurélien and René Jean-Louis, the first meeting of the founding members took place on the evening of July 13, 1997 at 6409 Newman avenue in Montreal. It was during this meeting that it was suggested to form an association whose main objective is to PROMOTE HAITIAN CULTURE.
